Firefighters use zipline to rescue infant trapped in flooded house in southern China
Firefighters used a zipline to rescue an infant trapped in a flooded house in southern China.
Video filmed in the county of Pingwu in Sichuan Province on July 12 shows a fireman carrying an infant and sliding on a zipline from a three-storey house submerged in deep floodwater to a safe area.
According to local reports, 25 residents got trapped in the deep floodwater brought by an overnight rainstorm.
After more than two hours' rescue, 25 residents have all been transferred to safe area.
