Juvenile Green Sea Turtle Rescue
At 6:56pm on the South Jetty, Port Aransas, Texas, July 19, 2014, a juvenile Green Sea Turtle was found tangled in fishing line. This is how we saved him.
Note: According to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS), Green Sea Turtles, among others, are endangered and need our help and protection from poaching, trash including fishing line, and destruction of nesting grounds and beaches.
