Chinese motorist removes towels covering licence plates just before police officer inspects vehicle
A motorist rushed to remove towels covering his licence plates when a police officer came to inspect the vehicle in northern China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Baoding in Hebei Province on July 22 shows a motorist getting out of his car and taking off the towels covering his licence plates.
According to reports, the motorist named Wang used towels to cover his licence plates to try to avoid being captured by the surveillance cameras.
The local police department deducted nine points from Wang's licence and fined him 200 yuan (£25).
