Chinese medical worker faints while working in almost 40-degree heat
A medical worker fainted while performing COVID-19 tests in almost 40-degree heat in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Deyang in Sichuan Province on August 10 shows several medical workers in protective clothing tending to a female worker who fainted.
Due to the high temperature, the female medical worker suffered sunstroke and fainted when she was collecting the samples for COVID-19 tests.
After being taken care of by other medical workers, the female worker has recovered.
The highest temperature in Deyang City on that day reached 38 degrees Celsius.
