A crack opened up on a bridge due to the high temperature in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Quanzhou in Fujian Province on July 23 shows a crack opening up on a bridge after the road surface suddenly exploded due to the high temperature.

According to reports, local villagers raised money to build the bridge 30 years ago and the cement road on it was built in 2002.

The temperature in some parts of Nan’an city was reportedly over 40 degrees Celsius.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
