One of the last remaining Lancaster Bombers was seen flying over Kent, UK this afternoon (August 19).

The historic and iconic aircraft - which forms part of the Battle of Britain memorial flight usually accompanied by a Spitfire and Hurricane - was seen passing over the Medway estuary from near Sittingbourne.

The vintage plane had departed Southend-on-sea airport, Essex to attend Eastbourne's well known international air show known as Airbourne.

Footage captures one of the only two airworthy Lancsters left in the world, but 7,377 were built originally.
