Burst water main leaves van stranded in underpass in Wealdstone, London
Flooding in Wealdstone, London this morning has left a van submerged in water with local buses on diversion.
Footage shows the vehicle under the bridge near Harrow Crown Court with police in attendance diverting traffic away from the scene. Traffic is heavy around the Wealdstone area due to the ongoing incident.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 07:30hrs on Wednesday, 31 August to reports of a burst water main causing flooding in Headstone Drive, near Ellen Webb Drive.
“Officers and the London Fire Brigade are in attendance.”
