A group of tourists rescued a villager's horse that was trapped in a muddy wetland in central China.

Video filmed in the city of Zhengzhou in Henan Province on August 30 shows the horse trapped in the mud and several men tying the ropes onto it to try to pull it out with their SUV.

After more than an hour, the horse was finally freed.

One of the men named Wang said to Henan Television that he and his friends travel to the riverside very often and they have rich rescue experience and rescue equipment.

After they rescued the horse, their SUV got trapped inside the wetland but they finally took it out.

The horse was reportedly taken away by the villager after it was rescued.

8月30日，河南郑州黄河滩上，王先生和几名好友去开车游玩时，看到有村民的马不慎陷入泥潭，无法动弹。他们查看情况后，决定用越野车把马匹拉出。由于马匹陷入较深，加上泥潭又比较松软，整个救援过程十分艰难。他们把绳子套在马匹的后肢和肚子上，经过1个多小时的努力，终于将深陷泥潭的马救了上来。当事人王先生表示，自己和兄弟们经常来黄河边玩耍，有丰富的救援经验和救援设备，马被救出了了，但是车又被陷了进去，废了好大劲儿才有把车托了出来。（视频由河南台提供）
