Electric vehicles including eco-friendly tuk-tuks and police motorcycles were displayed at a trade show in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday September 16.

The green battery-powered vehicles included cars from leading manufacturers including BMW and Honda. There were also new entrants to the booming climate-conscious market, such as Japan-based Nagase and Pocco, a Thair brand built under the Yogomo group in China.

Organisers of the Electric Vehicle Asia and iEVTech 2022 claim they 'present a special business platform to showcase solutions, technology, and infrastructure related to energy efficiency, power conversion systems including electrical systems for electric trains, battery management components, monitoring & control equipment systems and charging stations. The show is expected to attract serious buyers, decision-makers, entrepreneurs, car makers and also policymakers from private and public sectors from across ASEAN'.
