A group on a safari tour in Chobe National Park, Botswana, "held their breaths" as an elephant herd passed their vehicles within touching distance.

The filmer, Juli, said: "We were watching large herds of elephants from our open safari vehicle at the Chobe River Front when one of the cows decided to pass by very close.

"We were all holding our breath but luckily she was not aggressive at all. A real peaceful giant!"
