Cyclist Mike van Erp, 50, was driven around a corner on a car bonnet after blocking celebrity agent Paul Lyon-Maris, 60, from driving on the wrong side of a road in London.

In a court case on October 13, Lyon-Maris was cleared of dangerous driving and assault by beating.

The YouTuber, also known as CyclingMikey, stands in the way of a Range Rover driving on the wrong side of a road near Regent's Park in September 2021.

Lyon-Maris, who has represented actors Colin Firth and Sir Ian McKellen, appears frustrated as his passenger claims the agent has an "urgent" doctor's appointment and the cyclist "has to let him past."

The YouTuber, who recorded the confrontation on his selfie stick, responds, "I don't care," and continues to block the vehicle's path. The 60-year-old then drives around the corner with the filmer lying on the car's bonnet.

Van Erp is heard asking Siri to "dial 999" whilst on the vehicle. Lyon-Maris stops the vehicle and can be seen pointing to his watch while exclaiming he has an "appointment at half past 8."

The 60-year-old's passenger then exits the car attempting to diffuse the situation when a passerby appears to say she has seen the cyclist "do this twice this morning."

"If you touch me I will smack you," van Erp states as the vehicle's passenger attempts to remove the cyclist.

The heated altercation ends with Lyon-Maris pulling over to the side of the road as a police van approaches.

A secondary clip shows the confrontation from the point of view of van Erp's GoPro which was knocked to the ground as the cyclist was driven around the corner.

Lyon-Maris pleaded guilty to driving on the wrong side of the keep left sign and was fined £146.
