This is the heartwarming moment a thoughtful dog rushed to his mechanic owner to help him after a tyre exploded at a garage.

The pooch was playing outside the shop when a loud bang was heard after the tyre went off in Rayong province, eastern Thailand.

Shocked mechanic Chanathip Phutphao quickly stepped back from the vulcanizing machine before his worried dog ran off to him and chased after the loose nozzle.

Footage shows the dog running towards the man and catching the hose.

Pet owner Chanathip said: ‘I was relieved we weren't hurt. Accidents like this can't be avoided.

‘The reaction of my dog touched me. He's concerned with the people around him.'

No one was hurt when the enormous truck's tyre exploded.
