Police seize illegally smuggled liquor, nab smugglers in southern India

The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) police arrested smugglers who were smuggling liquor in southern India's Andhra Pradesh.

The incident happened in Gampalagudem village of NTR district on October 17.

Visuals showed the police officers with all the seized liquor that was being smuggled. The bottles of liquor were kept on a table in front of which the policemen stood around whom, there were cartons stacked, that contained the substance.

According to a report, the two arrested were identified as K Nagulmira and Miriyala Murali and the police seized a total of 810 bottles of liquor. Out of these 810 bottles, 498 contained the Telangana Madhyam liquor while 312 had Telangana beer. A case was also registered against the two.

The police officers who participated in this mission were identified as B Guruvayya, Sivaprasad and other staff members of the Tiruvuru SEB.
