A camera crane crashed into a couple of light poles as the filming vehicle drove along a road in eastern China.

Video filmed in Shanghai on October 25 shows the U-crane Dynamic on a filming vehicle hitting the light poles on the side of a road on Nanpu Bridge.

The motorist named Xia reportedly drove away without calling the police. He was then summoned by the police.

Police fined Xia 1,500 yuan (£178.6) and deducted six points from his licence for hit and run. For other acts that interfere with driving safety, police fined 200 yuan (£24) and deducted three points.

经警方调查，10月25日6时20分许，夏某某（男，43岁）驾驶公司摄像车辆，至南浦大桥浦东南路上匝道口附近时，安装在车顶的拍摄摇臂与匝道路灯杆发生碰撞，造成拍摄设备及路灯杆损坏，事故未造成人员伤亡。
事发后，夏某某未报警并驶离现场，后其被公安机关传唤。
目前，浦东警方对夏某某发生道路交通事故后逃逸的违法行为处1500元罚款，记6分；对其他妨碍驾驶安全的行为处200元罚款，记3分的处罚。
据了解，肇事车辆为汽车广告跟拍车辆，摇臂上的拍摄设备价值达百万元级别。
