Refugee not migrant .
As news of another 400 people drowned crossing the Mediterranean sea and in the wake of the BBC restricting the word refugee from reports of human traffic crossing the sea , using the term migrant which disguises the real issue to the uk audience .
so as the trafficking season begins again for refugees eager to escape war, famine and exploitation , solidarity groups here demand that prejudice fear and a blinkered response to the crisis that engulfed all of the Europe be a more humane and respectful attitude be adopted , that closing the barriers only shows a disregard for the humanitarian crisis that has become a widening gap threatening to split Europe from Africa.
