Workers put the final touches to the Saad Sayel Stadium in Gaza on Sunday 20 November, before Palestinians head there to watch football World Cup games in a few hours.

The venue in Gaza City will show matches from the tournament in Qatar and was organised by Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza.

The Committee's Head of Information, Abdul Rahman Al-Khalidi, spoke (in Arabic) about the work involved.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is taking place in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December.

It is the first World Cup to be held in the Arab world, and only the second World Cup held entirely in Asia, after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.
