A landslide swept away at least 12 houses and 10 hectares of land in Vietnam. The 500-meter-long and 20-meter-deep riverbank was completely washed away.

Residents said they had discovered many cracks days before the collapse occurred. They also added that they managed to leave the house before it was swept away just in time as they heard loud noises.

More than 20 households have to be relocated.

According to local people, a terrible landslide occurred in the evening in the riverbank area, causing 12 houses to be swept away. and 10 hectares of land were completely washed away. A riverbank with a length of 500 meters and a depth of 20 meters was completely washed away by water.
Residents said they had discovered many cracks from the days before the landslide occurred. Before the landslide happened they heard loud sounds coming from the ground. They quickly moved out of the house before the house was completely swept away.
Cracks near the riverbank continued to occur and more than 20 households nearby had to be relocated.
The cause of the landslide is believed to have been altered flow, causing the water to swirl into the landslide area.
