Water main bursts in busy intersection of Sherman Oaks, California
A burst water main flooded the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Van Nuys Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, California on December 20 at 12 p.m. during rush hour traffic on the busy intersection.
As water shot into the air, cars had to narrowly navigate in order to avoid the high-pressure jet streams. First responders arrived to secure the site and eventually maintenance crews resolved the problem.
