A 52-year-old farmer painted a giant rabbit into the snow to welcome the new year in northern China.

Impressive video filmed in Muling City in Heilongjiang Province on December 31, 2022, shows a farmer named Wu Tongjun spraying nontoxic pigments to draw a giant rabbit as well as writing a Chinese character “Fu” which means fortune on a snow-covered pond.

Wu reportedly used a drone to help check the painting and amend it. It took him around three days to finish the artwork.

Wu started to paint on snow in 2019 and has created more than 1,000 products. The largest one of his snow paintings was the Beijing 2022 emblem with a dimension of 7,000 square meters.

The year 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit according to the Chinese calendar.
