Angry and distressed leopard rescued from villager's home in southern India
An angry leopard was rescued from a villager's house in southern India's Karnataka.
The incident happened in the Muddulingiahnadoddi in Tumakaru district on January 6.
Visuals showed the angry leopard growling inside a house owned by a man named Shivanna, as it was being watched from outside.
The big cat may also have been distressed by the presence of a group of people making noise and shining lights in its direction.
According to a report, RFO (Range Forest Ofiicer) Mahammed Mansoor of Kunigal range headed the rescue operation, alongside colleagues Mahesh, Sharanappa, Shakar and Yuvaraju.
After being caught, the leopard was put into a cage, before being taken away from the scene.
Reports say a tranquilizer was not used in capturing the animal.
