Blindfolded villagers raced to catch a pig during a festival.
Amusing footage shows the frenzied locals crawling on their hands and knees while trying to snatch a piglet in Negros Occidental province, the Philippines on February 11.
The participants bizarrely used surgical masks to conceal their vision during the game, and the first one to grab the creature was considered the winner.
Neighbour Tessa Caberte said the winner took the piglet home as a prize.
She said: ‘We call it ‘ilugay baboy' and we do it every year for the feast of our patron saint. We count up to three and place the pig back inside when everyone is blindfolded then the fun starts.'
