Footage shows California firefighters tackling a huge blaze at a residence at around 1:57AM local time on Sunday, February 19.

Upon searching the residence, they located an adult male body who was declared deceased on the scene.

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies were called to investigate due to firefighters discovering the man was dead prior to the fire starting.

At this time it's unknown what caused the fire and the circumstances behind the death of the victim are also unknown.

VALLE VISTA, CA - On the night of 02/19/2023 at about 1:57 am Cal Fire responded to multiple reports of a residential structure fire in the 24700 block of Howard Dr. Arriving crews located a double wide mobile home partially involved with fire and heavy smoke. Firefighters initiated an agressive fire attack. Upon searching the residence, firefighters located an adult male victim who was declared deceased on scene. Riverside County Sheriff's deputies were called to investigate due to firefighters discovering that the deceased male was dead prior to the fire starting. At this time it's unknown what caused the fire and the circumstances behind the death of the victim are also unknown. The fire was under containment as of 2:45 am.
