Heartwarming CCTV footage has emerged from China of some pedestrians and a bus driver helping to return a bundle of cash that an elderly cyclist dropped by accident.

In the footage, captured on a bus security camera in Shandong Province on Tuesday, some notes can be seen flying out of the pocket of the man. Then two passers-by hurry to pick up the money.

They then stop a bus to catch up with the rider and finally return the cash to him while he is waiting at a junction.

According to local news, the man was on his way back from a bank after a withdrawal when he nearly lost half of it.
