A storm blew into tents causing chaos at a polling centre during the general election voting in Bangkok, Thailand.

Video shows staff and voters fighting to steady bulletin boards and protect ballots as strong wind battered the voting station tent in the city's Bang Sue district on May 14.

Vote counting had to be suspended temporarily to secure the equipment.

The Thai Meteorological Department issued a weather advisory on May 14 warning that tropical cyclone Mocha was expected to bring persistent rainfall to northern Thailand, with heavy rain forecasted in other areas including the country's northeast and central regions until May 15.
