Shocking CCTV footage has emerged from China of a BMW ploughing into a man riding a horse.

The video, captured on a security camera on Saturday, shows the man riding on a road, where he clashes with the on-coming car and throws himself off the horse's back.

According to news reports, the man, in his forties, was allegedly drunk.

He survived with minor injuries thanks to the protective gears and was wearing.

The video, captured on a security camera on Saturday, shows the man riding towards the reverse direction on a vehicle lane where he clashes with a coming car and throws himself off the horse back.

According to news reports, the man in his forties was allegedly drunk in the accident as later arrived police smelt alcohol on his body. He survived with minor injuries thanks to the protective gears and was due to receive an investigation this week.

The man was also said having ridden his black horse to pick up his daughter from school the other day, as an envious pupil wrote about the moment on the diary.
