Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a car losing control and spinning on a bridge before crashing into oncoming traffic in the opposite lane.

The video, which was a combination of security camera and dash cam footage captured in Anhui Province on Sunday, shows the white car veering between two lanes before crossing the gap of the stick barriers and rushing across the road.

According to news reports, the car was trying to overtake a truck when it hit the trailer and lost control. Fortunately, all of the four occupants of the car survived with only minor injuries despite the severe damage to the vehicle.
