In a heartwarming display of dedication this devoted teacher went above and beyond to bring joy to a young student who missed an award ceremony by visiting her student at his bedside.

Brittany Smith, 30, mother of Malcom captured this touching moment where Mrs. McFarland, a beloved teacher at Malcom's school in Louisiana, visited her eight-year-old son at hospital after he suffered a severe asthma attack.

According to Brittany, he had just woken up from his hospital bed and wasn't feeling his best, but the presence of Mrs. McFarland and the recognition she brought made a significant impact on him.

The footage showcases Malcom's surprise and happiness upon seeing his caring teacher as she presented him with his certificates and accolades for the year.

Malcom's mother firmly believes that her son will carry this special moment with him into adulthood, cherishing the memory of a teacher who went the extra mile.

Brittany said: "Great teachers like this make such a huge impact on our children. I can guarantee that my son will remember Mrs. McFarland and this special moment when he is grown and has children of his own.

"Teachers like this deserve the world."
