A massive fire broke out at a coaching institute in northern India's Delhi.

This happened at Gyana building near Batra Cinema in Mukherjee Nagar area on June 15.

Visuals showed ladders placed outside the window of the building that caught fire as students made their way out. A huge crowd had gathered at the spot with fire brigade and police officers present in the area.

According to a report, all the students were rescued from the building and fortunately, no injuries have been reported. A total of 11 fire tenders were involved in successfully putting out the flames.

The students also made use of air conditioners installed on other floors while coming down.

"We received info about a fire in a building. Later we came to know that it is a coaching centre and some children are trapped in it. We sent a total of 11 fire tenders to the spot. The fire has been brought under control," Delhi Fire Services Director Atul Garg.

According to the police, the fire broke out in an electricity metre. This caused panic among students. Due to the smoke emanating from the equipment they started rappelling down from the back side of the coaching centre to save their lives.
