In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday, the Arab Republic of Egypt welcomed the announcement of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar to re-establish diplomatic representation between them.
Qatar and the UAE announced Monday the reopening of their respective embassies and consulates with immediate effect.
Egypt praised this positive step on the path of strengthening joint Arab action and consolidating Arab unity, affirming its support for all efforts aimed at strengthening Arab relations at various levels and protecting the interests of the Arab peoples.
