STORYLINE:
The Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races made a thrilling return to Victoria Harbour on Saturday, as about 4,000 athletes from over 160 teams competed in 17 events during the two-day tournament.
The modern dragon boat race was held in Hong Kong for the first time in 1976 to celebrate the Duanwu Festival. Now, the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races have become a flagship tournament.

"In terms of the performance of the whole teams, the teams from the Chinese mainland as well as Hong Kong and Macao are at the forefront in the world. Newcomer Poland dispatched a 50-player squad to Hong Kong for this year's dragon boat races.
