The ‘Barbieland' attraction became a hit in Manila ahead of the Barbie movie release.

Footage shows the entertainment venue with indoor pools and bars splashed in pink decoration in Okada Manila's The Cove in Paranaque City, the Philippines on July 13.

A ball pit slide under a large arch with a Barbie logo as well as a doll-themed closet was put up in the venue so kids and kids-at-heart could enjoy them.

Pink inflatable swans were available by the swimming area, while the hall displayed a large glass cabinet with Barbie and Ken dolls.

Reanne, who visited the attraction, said: ‘I was so happy to be there. It was like being inside a life-sized dollhouse. The experience was amazing.'

Barbie movie was recently cleared to be released in the Philippines after a call for a ban was made after China's controversial ‘nine-dash line' map allegedly appeared on the show. The South China Sea map will be blurred in the Southeast Asian country screening.

Vietnam banned the movie due to the map last week, but Warner Bros. Pictures said the map is ‘child-like' with no intended meaning.

The nine-dash line is a U-shaped line that appears on Chinese maps to indicate the extent of China's claims in the South China Sea. The line was first published in a 1947 map by the Republic of China, but it was not until the 1970s that the PRC began to use it as a basis for its maritime claims.
