The death toll has risen to 22 after a landslide devastated a village in Maharashtra on July 20.

Footage shared by India's National Disaster Response Force shows bodies being recovered from the debris in Irshalwadi.

NDRF's inspector Mahesh Sindha said: "We are conducting three types of searches, including dog and physical ones. It is challenging but we are trained for it. We recovered 22 bodies last two days and the search operation continues."

The region is witnessing incessant rainfall. Search and rescue operations are underway with NDRF. The landslide-hit village is situated on a hill slope making it difficult to use heavy machines for rescue operations.
