Peru's Ministry of Culture on Tuesday declared four works by Nobel laureate Mario Vargas Llosa as a National Culture Heritage.
The decision is historic because it is the first declaration to the works of an author in life.
The recognized copies include The Bosses (1957), The City and the Dogs (1963), The Green House (1966), and Puppies: Pichula Cuellar (1967).
Born in 1936, Vargas Llosa received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2010.
