A heavy rainstorm triggered a massive waterfall, blocking a mountain road in southern China.

Video filmed in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province on August 21, shows a flooded waterfall cascading down a mountainside.



On August 21, intense rainfall battered the Huidong County of Liangshan,

Located between a deep mountain gorge, a waterfall poured from the cliff above, with a road beneath it. A white car's path was blocked by the torrential waterfall, forcing the driver to repeatedly reverse in an attempt to escape the deluge, offering viewers a heart-stopping spectacle.

According to officials from Tieliu Town in Huidong County, warnings had been issued back in May. As the flood season approached, the scenic area had posted announcements about closing parts near the river that could be hazardous during rainfall.

Fortunately, this intense rainfall incident did not result in any casualties, and the roads are now back to normal.
