A female receptionist at a hotel claimed that an unidentified man had surreptitiously lifted her dress while she was asleep during her night shift in eastern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Yangzhou City in Jiangsu Province on August 31.

The employee was seen catching some rest in a chair behind the reception desk in the lobby. A man cautiously approached the counter, peering at the slumbering employee several times. He then cast a brief glance outside the entrance before discreetly making his way behind the desk.

Although the full scene was obstructed due to the camera angle, one could discern the corner of the woman's skirt being slowly raised, jolting her awake immediately thereafter.

The victim recounted the horrifying ordeal, stating that the man had kept an eye on her, ensuring she was asleep before approaching and gently lifting her skirt. In his defence, the man later explained he was looking for someone and had tried calling out to the receptionist, but she hadn’t responded.

A staff member from the hotel confirmed the incident, mentioning that the surveillance video clearly showed the receptionist's skirt being lifted. The distressed employee has since reported the matter to the police.

As of the evening of August 31, local law enforcement confirmed that the incident is currently under investigation.

现场监控视频显示，该女员工躺在大厅服务台内的椅子上睡觉，一名男子走到前台探头看了她几次，然后转头看了一眼门外，小心翼翼地走进服务台内。因监控角度有限未能拍全画面，但可以看到，女子裙子的一角慢慢被掀起，然后女子猛地惊醒。。

当事女子介绍，当时这名男子来回巡视确认她睡着后，慢慢走进来掀起她的裙子，动作很轻。事后该男子解释称自己是来找人的，喊她她没听到。

当事宾馆一名工作人员称，确有此事，从监控看女员工的裙子被掀了，目前女员工已经报警。

31日晚，辖区派出所的工作人员表示，此事正在调查处理。
