Two pensioners watching television was terrified when a snake slithered emerged at their feet.

The married couple were alone in the house when a bullfrog jumped out of the door beside the grandmother causing her to shout in panic in Samut Sakhon province, Thailand on May 11 evening.

But the elderly residents were even more shocked when only seconds later, a 6ft-long serpent charged through trying to catch its dinner.

CCTV footage shows the couple sitting on their chairs and enjoying their favourite show when the animals suddenly emerged in their living room at night.

Upon recovering from her fright, the old woman helped her husband search for the snake and frog inside their home but they eventually called the local rescuers for help.

The snake was later found and turned over to wildlife officers who released it into the wild. No one was hurt from the incident but the grandmother complained that her leg suffering from arthritis was strained from the sudden movements she did because of the snake.
