This is the dramatic moment a furious female shopper confronted an alleged pervert she caught with a hidden camera in his shoes to take up-skirt photos of unsuspecting women.

Fang Nongnaphat, who has spoken publicly about the incident, was queueing at a cash register in the Robinson Department Store in Chachoengsao, Thailand on September 10, when she noticed the masked man standing behind her without any items to check out.

Fang, a university student, made her purchase and walked away, but she became suspicious as the man continued to tail her.

When she glanced to see what he looked like, Fang said she saw something glinting from his Crocs-style shoes. She squinted and was horrified to find a camera lens peeking out from the footwear's gaps.

Dramatic footage shows how an enraged Fang bravely turned the tables on the alleged voyeur, following him around the mall and screaming to expose him to the security guards and shoppers.

The seemingly embarrassed man was seen waving Fang's camera away, but the relentless woman refused to let him escape.

She was heard shouting: 'You have a camera. You've been following me since earlier. Yes, here, there is a camera hidden under his shoe.'

Security officers who heard the commotion later went over to give the suspected pervert a pat-down. They found a small camera wedged in one of his shoes.

Fang, who supplied the video of her encounter and agreed to speak publicly, said police have arrested the man, who will be facing legal action.

She said: 'He wouldn't stop walking so I yelled to catch the guards' attention. If you're not observant, you wouldn't see the camera at all. I was so angry.

'I want to put him in jail. I've got clear evidence against him. He could have done this to other women before me, or he could do it again. I want the police to punish him.'
