SOUNDBITE (English): JOERG WESTERHOLT, General Manager of Factory Automation, Senior Vice President of Digital Industries Siemens Ltd., China
"(With) the demand in upgrading the factory to use more digitalization but as well decarbonization, this dual way forward of China, we can hear some offerings for our customers and this is what we discuss. And newly we launched our 'Xcelerator.' 'Xcelerator' is the industry business platform to support our customers for the industrial transformation and to use more decarbonization.
China factories will increase the number of robots. Therefore, we introduce here at the CIIF fair as well, a robot library, which makes this integration much more efficient for the engineers."

The German Pavilion, comprising 10 institutions and 19 industrial brand exhibitors, made its debut at the CIIF.

After three years of disruption due to the pandemic, the CIIF returned offline this year, featuring over 2,800 participating companies from 30 countries and regions.
