This devastated 2-year-old chased after her parents' car as they drove off to work.

Footage from October 4 shows the toddler shouting "Mum" whilst running after the vehicle in Hechi, Guangxi Province.

The girl's mum and dad had returned home during China's National Day and after the day off they had to return to work which was out of the city.

According to the child's mother, because she and her partner have unstable jobs, they are unable to take care of the child. After seeing the surveillance video, she felt very guilty about leaving her daughter.

After the National Day holiday, the parents returned to the city to work. The daughter cried and chased the car.

On October 4, in Hechi, Guangxi, the National Day holiday was coming to an end. A pair of parents had to return to the city to work, so they could only leave their 2-year-old daughter at home for the care of the elderly.

Unexpectedly, after the car drove away, the little girl cried heartbrokenly and chased her out while calling "Mom". She didn't stop until she fell.
