A quick-thinking pedestrian stopped a metal barrier that was rolling towards a car while it was being blown during a storm.

The red and white metal fence on wheels had been pushed down the road by strong wind during a tropical rainstorm in Samut Sakhon, central Thailand, on September 29.

However, the man noticed the metal barrier was about to crash into the front of the parked vehicle and calmly stepped in to help.

Onlooker Fon said: 'The driver rolled down his window to thank the man who came to help. At that time, it was raining heavily.

'I think the car owner probably didn't have time to think about how to deal with the problem. Fortunately, a hero came to save him in time.'
