On October 4, 2023, in Chongqing, a video captured a heartwarming moment as a newlywed couple embarked on a creative journey from the end of a train of Chongqing Metro Line 3 to the front.

To share their happiness, the couple distributed candies to fellow subway passengers, and in response received many congratulations from both passengers and passersby.

According to local reports, the groom Mr. Chen put forward this idea and soon gained the consent of his wife Ms. Hui, who is not a native of Chongqing. When it comes to the option of Metro Line 3, the groom found that the hotel and the shooting scene are coincidentally near the stations of this subway line.

In traditional Chinese wedding customs, Chen is required to bring his soon-to-be-wife back to their home from the bride's family. Instead of the usual caravan of cars, the newlyweds in the video chose to take the light rail for part of their sweet journey.

The groom hopes this special train experience will sync their happiness and share Chongqing’s landscape with the passersby, their relatives, and friends from other regions.
