CCTV footage has emerged from China of an overloaded truck falling into a sinkhole that suddenly appeared in the middle of the road.

The video, partly filmed on security cameras in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province last Tuesday, shows the back of the truck poking out of the hole in the collapsed road after it fell into it.

According to local news, the four-metre deep hole occurred because the weight of the truck was too much for it to take.

The video, filmed in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province last Tuesday, shows the back part of the truck is caught in the collapsed road and its head is turn-up.

According to local news, when the truck was turning a corner, the back of it collapsed into the road abruptly. A four-metre deep hole occurred after the road was pressed by the overloaded truck.

Based on Director Chen, the accident may be caused by emptying the mud as the downcomer broke. At the same time, the quality of the road may be another reason.
