Pedestrian swallowed by sink hole when it opens on city street
This is the terrifying moment a pedestrian fell into a sinkhole which opened beneath his feet in Nanchang City, China on Thursday.
According to local media, the man and his friends were about to cross the road when paving stones gave way sending him falling into the hole.
His friends called for help and passers-by arrived to help haul the man from the sink hole.
He emerged with only a few scratches.
