A mouse was spotted brazenly gnawing on meat in the kitchen of a beef hotpot restaurant in eastern China.

The video was filmed in Yueqing City in Zhejiang Province on November 29.

The Yueqing Municipal Market Supervision Administration swiftly responded to the reports by dispatching enforcement officers to investigate the scene.

Upon verification, the authorities initiated a case against the involved party, seizing and destroying the contaminated meat, and sealing the premises.

Further actions will be determined based on the investigation's findings, with strict regulations enforced to uphold public health.
