A kind motorcycle rider rescued a motionless loris lying in the middle of a road in Thailand.

The driver pulled over to pick up the wild animal after it had wandered onto the path near a forest in Narathiwat province on June 3.

He returned the loris into the wilderness to keep it away from oncoming cars.

The loris is an arboreal, sloth-like primate native to Southeast Asia. It is known for its sluggish movements, but also packs a flesh-rotting venomous bite, which it uses as a defense mechanism.
