This is the chaotic moment Chinese tourists piled on top of each other on a 'malfunctioning' mall escalator in Bangkok, Thailand.
Footage shows the visitors screaming in panic as they struggled on the moving escalator at the RCA Plaza mall after losing their balance on November 5.
A security guard rushed over to press the emergency stop button.
Onlooker Jirayut Songmuang said: 'I came to the mall as usual and noticed the tourists walking in groups. I didn't pay attention to them, but after a while I heard screaming and saw them falling on top of each other while riding the escalator.
'So I took my phone and recorded it. I don't know how it happened, but I noticed that the handrails of the escalator weren't moving with the steps.'
