Strangers unite in Chinese song to mend couple's quarre
Strangers United in a Chinese song to mend a couple's quarre.
The video was filmed in Zhengzhou City in Henan Province on December 6.
The wife, visibly agitated, clutched her husband's clothes while loudly questioning him. Spectators gathered around as bystanders attempted to mediate, but the couple stood firm in their disagreement.
As tensions escalated, a surprising turn of events unfolded when the crowd spontaneously illuminated the scene with their smartphone flashlights. In an unexpected twist, they began singing the classic lines from a Chinese song "Later" by a renowned singer Rene Liu: "Later, finally understood in tears, some people, once missed, are gone forever."
Amidst the collective singing, the conflicted couple found themselves caught between tears and laughter. The powerful moment led to a resolution as they reconciled in the midst of the harmonious serenade.
Ms Sang, an eyewitness, revealed that the altercation seemingly stemmed from the husband's gambling habit, which was exposed during the public confrontation. Onlookers advised the husband to mend his ways, apologise to his wife, but he insisted that after over a decade, he couldn't change. He even mentioned divorce as a possible outcome, a proposition that his wife firmly rejected.
Ultimately, as the crowd's singing united them, the husband apologised to his wife, making a commitment to change.
