Pro Palestinian activists gather for prayers at Palestinian flag mural in Bo Kaap
Thousands of Pro Palestinian protesters gathered at a massive palestinian flag painted on an apartment block in Bo Kaap Cape Town for a prayer meeting.
The flag, considered to be the biggest of its kind in Africa is situated in the oldest settelement in South Africa, Bo Kaap. With a history of resistance against the apartheid regime in Cape Town Usman Shabodien from the Bo Kaap Civic Association said resident there can relate to East Jerusalem with their battle against gentrification.
The event was also attended by The South African Minister of International Relations , Ms Naledi Pandor.
