A foolish tourist exited their safari vehicle to take a video of a pride of lions in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Footage shows other tourists and drivers peering out their vehicle windows at the daring man who wanted to get a better angle of the wild cats.

The filmer told Newsflare: "We were the third vehicle at the sighting but the first two vehicles left. Many other vehicles stopped to also see the four lionesses. At this stage, we had a prime spot.

"At first, the lions came up to the road and had a small greeting with each other before finding a nice spot in the shade.

"Then this guy decided to get out of his vehicle to take some pictures/video of the lions. Visitors yelled at him but he just ignored them.

"He had two small children in his pick-up truck, who also called to their dad to get back into the vehicle and warn him that people were filming him.

"Things like this happen when people are uneducated regarding Kruger National Park rules and/or wildlife."
