Video of the line of severe thunderstorms that affected the Washington DC metro area during the afternoon of May 27, 2014. Video recorded as the storms passed over Frederick, Maryland on its way towards areas to the southeast, such as the city of Washington DC and southern Maryland. Frequent cloud to ground lightning was observed with these storms.
